Sentencing in the Bolton case

Sentencing is set for today in the classified-documents case against the former national security adviser, who was indicted on eighteen counts in October 2025 and pleaded guilty in June to one.

The same Justice Department's clemency page has been busy over the same stretch: 23 pardons and 6 commutations on September 3 alone, and among the grants of the past year, securities and wire fraud, wire fraud with aggravated identity theft, and failure to maintain an effective anti-money-laundering program. One calendar, two doors.
